ADD A LITTLE LOVE TO YOUR LIFE

I've never imagined that there can be this day.

A day that love will find its way.

Out of my heart and into your soul.

These feelings I have are beyond my control....

Valentine’s Day. One of the toughest days of the year. Will I receive flowers? Or at least a card? Has he planned something special – or is he planning a night out with the boys? When someone makes you feel special on the most romantic day of the year it is a wonderful experience—but being forgotten is also the worst.

This year turn the tables and make sure the man in your life feels really, really special. If you’ve examined your budget and know there is no ways you can afford that Mont Blanc wallet he’s been dropping hints about here are a few ideas that will really brighten up his life—and yours, I hope!—at minimal cost.

· Leave a little note in his briefcase or laptop bag so he will find it when he gets to work.

· Stock his fridge with his favorite beer and his shelves with his favorite snacks.

· Give a back massage or offer a foot rub -- without asking for one in return!

· Stop by your sweetie's office around lunchtime with his favorite noontime nosh.

· When he gets home, hand him a glass of wine, sit down together and let him talk about his day.

· Let him pick the movie this time.

· Recreate your first date -- then recall all the feelings you had for each other that very first night.

· Make a creative coupon book (free massage, free night out with the guys, etc).

· Dedicate a day to the one you love—plan a day filled with his favorite things.

· If he has to work late, have his favorite take-out delivered to the office.

· Make him a special bag lunch with a note written on a napkin inside.

· Offer him the last bite of the dessert you're sharing.

· Go stargazing. Bring a bottle of champagne.

· Brag about him to his friends for something really macho that he does.

But what if you don’t have a significant other? This is your opportunity to send a card, a text or a small gift anonymously to the man you fancy. You could even pluck up courage and ask him for a coffee, bearing in mind that this is a leap year, when ladies are entitled to propose… anything you fancy. And send yourself a card as well. Through the post. Notice it when the friend who gossips most is near and wonder who on earth it could be from…?
