Marine Centre

Marine Centre began production in 1971 of private fibreglass fishing boats and steadily grew over the years to be the largest fibreglass boat manufactures in the country with the largest ranges of fibreglass boats and semi rigid hulls. The present owners have managed the business since 1986 and thus have many years of experience in the boating industry.

Marine Centre complex was purpose built in 1999 and boasts a large showroom with factory units for the manufacture of boats, the in house manufacture of boat trailers and effective workshop facilities for servicing of outboard engines, motorbikes, generators and water pumps. The workshop team have decades of experience and are able to provide full back up and service.

Marine Centre are the largest importer and distributor of Yamaha Motor products into Zimbabwe. Marine Centre initially focused on Yamaha outboard engines but in 2009 increased their range from Yamaha outboards to all other Yamaha motor products. With the increased range of Yamaha products on offer Marine Centre now trades as Harare Yamaha, importing containers direct from Yamaha Japan thus offering the customer a wider range of stock at the best price.

Ruffnek Boats

Over the last 20 years, Ruffnek has introduced a number of Bass Hulls to the Southern African market.

All of these have been developed from recognized Bass hulls and built by Bass fishermen. The hulls have been built with safety in mind whilst offering style and comfort at the same time. Positive foam flotation in the floor, gunwales, fuel tank area, under seat and under deck, create more than adequate buoyancy.

Hulls on offer from Ruffnek include , the 19ft 6inch Viper, the new 21ft Renegade Elite the 21ft multi purpose Ruzi 2000 and our newest addition, the 17ft 6inch Bass Maverick.
